Re: COMORO ISLANDS FAMOUS SHIPS
Note that the stamp on the bottom row left not only shows HM Queen Elizabeth II but also the liner Queen Mary 2 which she named in 2004

Re: COMORO ISLANDS FAMOUS SHIPS
The label on the top line is certainly
not Queen Anne rather it is Queen Mary 2
Queen Anne did not come into service until 2024 and this sheet from Comoros was issued in 2009

Re: QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 (1967)
The inscription showing the wrong date for the launch of QE2 is on the 47p sheet of 10 stamps not on the miniature sheet

Re: Chad issues 2021 cruise vessels
The flag on the sheet showing QM2 is wrong. The ship is since late 2011 registered in Hamilton Bermuda but the flag shown is the flag of The Bahamas. At least the stamp names the ship correctly RMS Queen Mary 2 although she no longer carries mail. She was given the RMS designation in 2004 in honour ...

Vistafjord
I was quite wrong to suggest that Vistafjord appeared on the St Lucia Aerogram of 1992.

Re: UNITED NATIONS TRANSPORTATION
I did contact the United Nations in 1997 to get information on the designs and received the Press Release for the issue which reads "The 32-cent se-tenant strip of five stamps illustrate watercraft. Starting on the left, the first stamp depicts a clipper ship, a fast, sail powered, ocean crossi...

I think the stamp shown is RMS Caronia not her sister ship. The inscription on the stamp is SS Caronia

I suggest that the Carnival ship shown on the sheet might be Carnival Legend or Carnival Spirit. Both sail to Tonga from Sydney.

Re: Carpathia (Cunard Line)
The man shown on the stamp is the American impressionist painter Colin Campbell Cooper (1856 - 1937). He and his wife Emma were passengers on board RMS Carpathia when the transatlantic steamship arrived on the scene of the sunken RMS Titanic. Cooper and Emma assisted in the rescue of the survivors. ...

Re: CALEDONIA 1840
Until recently I have gone along with the fate of the Caledonia and Hibernia two ships belonging to Cunard and sold early in 1850 to the Spanish Navy for £35,000 but the new book on Cunard Line by Peter Newall has a different version and I am inclined to go along with that. Here are the extracts fro...

Slovenia in 2002 issued a stamp SG 567 showing Ressell's propellor with a ship in the top corner which may well be a representation of the Civetta of 1829.

Re: Queen Elizabeth 2010
I have to correct the entry. The ship shown on the stamp is of course Queen Elizabeth 2 and not the 2010 Queen Elizabeth. However there is an interesting connection with the 2010 Queen Elizabeth. When the Queen launched the ship in October 2010 she unveiled a portrait of herself commissioned by Cuna...

Re: Central African Republic and QE2
At long last I have obtained the 1997 stamp from Central African Republic which in the ATA booklet 156 suggests that the stamp depicts the liner QE2. In fact it does not - the ship shown is the royal yacht Britannia! A disppointment for me as I collect Cunard ships on stamps. However I am still look...
