LUTINE HMS. 5th Rate.36 guns. 36 guns. Built in France for the French Navy.
932 tons (bm). L144'. B39'.
Armament consisted of Twenty six 12pdr. Ten 6pdr.guns.
Transferred by Royalists at Toulon 29 September 1793 and taken to England 18 December 1793.
On 9/10 October 1799 she was wrecked off Vlieland (a small island to the North of the
Netherlands) with a cargo of gold bars and coins.
In 1859 her rudder was found, Lloyds had a table and chair made as a souvenir.
