Wooden Auxiliary schooner built by J.N.Albury ay Nassau in 1945, for Goosym shipping Co., and later owned by the Symonette Shipyard, Nassau.
Gross tonnage 335 tns. Length 141ft.

The auxiliary wooden 3 masted schooner was built by J.N. Albury shipyard, Nassau (another source give Symonette Shipyard, Nassau & Hog Island), Bahamas for account of Goodsym Shipping Co. Ltd, Nassau.
Launched as the CARIBBEAN QUEEN.
Tonnage 335 grt, 267 net, 267 dwt. Dim. 141 x 25.9 x 12.5ft.
Powered by two each 6-cyl. diesels made by Atlas–Diesel Eng. Co., California, hp?, shafts?, speed?
1945 Completed.
After completing used in the trade between the Bahamas, Florida and other ports in the Caribbean as a cargo vessel.
Lloyds Registry 1955/56 has the same name and owner. Built by J,N, Albury.
19 January 1961 the CARIBBEAN QUEEN on a voyage from Tampa in ballast via the Old Bahama Channel to the Dominican Republic struck submerged wreckage near the Cay Sal Bank and sank.
On the stamp she is depict on the shipyard before launching.
