Built under yard no 427 as one of the OSD type cargo vessels, by the Lübecker Flender-Werke A.G. at Lübeck-Siems, Germany for Schiff. & Assekuranz Ges. (Ernst Russ & Co.) Hamburg
27 March 1952 Launched under the name "ROLAND RUSS" .
Tonnage 2.690 BRT, 1.480 NRT, 5.030 dwt., dim. 115.58 x 16.06 x 9.30m., draught 6.32m.
Powered by one 5 cyl. WUMAG diesel, 2.207 bhp, speed 13 knots. Single screw.
She was ice-strengthened. Had five holds.
June 1952 completed.

1971 Transferred by owners to Liberian register and flag.
1973 Sold to Leto Shipping Co. Ltd., Cyprus, not renamed.
1976 Renamed by owners in "MEDSKY" .
1979 Sold to Eminance Shipping Co. Ltd., Cyprus, renamed "KALIA" .
1984 Renamed by owners "WORLD DIGNITY" .
She arrived at 18 Nov. 1984 at Gadani Beach, India for scrapping.
