Local Passengers ships in St Pierre et Miquelon.

Not much information is known on this small passengers ferries sailing between the islands or between the islands and Newfoundland, the info below is given on the margin of the stamps on the sheet. Specifications and more details welcome.

LE PETIT MIQUELON:

Built in 1968 as a coastal launch in Canada, and she is used for administrative voyages from St Pierre to Langlade and Miquelon. Also in use as a fishery patrol vessel.

L ILE AUX-MARINS:

Is a coastal launch built in St John’s Newfoundland.
She is now used for the summer daily links between Ile aux Marins known as the Ile aux Chiens and St Pierre.

MARGUERITE H:

She is a coastal launch built at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada. Used in the service between St Pierre and Langlade or Miquelon but also for the service between St Pierre to Fortune, Newfoundland.

Le MOUSSE:

Built as a coastal launch in St John’s Newfoundland in 1966, used for the interisland service, mostly between St Pierre and Langlade.
