ZEELA

The tug shown on this stamp is the ZEELA in the port of Haifa, the two merchant ships are not identified.

Built as a harbour tug under yard No 436 by Atlas Werke, Bremen for the Israeli Ports Authority, Eliat.
02 February 1966 launched as the ZEELA.
Tonnage 162 ton, dim. 94.1 x 28.8 x 11.4ft (draught).
Powered by two 6-cyl KHD diesel engines, 950 hp., speed 10.5 knots.
Crew 6 – 10.
1966 Delivered to owners.

2005 Sold but not renamed.
2011 As given by http://www.equasis.org In service under same name. Under Panama flag. IMO No 6607290, owned and managed by Gal Yam Marine Works, Haifa.

Israel 1969 30A sg405, scott?
