Three stamps of this set which are made after real photo’s of the objects are interesting for the shipstamp collector.
The VOC stamp shows us the replica of the VOC ship AMSTERDAM.
The port of Rotterdam with a variety of ships, not one so far identified.

19 July 1975 launched as the DELFIN one of the Koni class, project 1159. Altogether 14 units were built for export to foreign navies of East Germany, Yugoslavia, Algeria, Cuba and Libya.

Powered GODAG by one gas turbine of 18,000 hp, one shaft, and two diesels, 15,820 bhp. two shafts, speed on diesels 22 knots. All three combined 27 knots.
Range by a speed of 14 knots, 1,800 mile.
Armament: SA-N-4 Gecko SAM launcher (20 missiles), 2 dual 76mm DP, 2 dual 30mm AA. 2 RBU-6000 ASW RL, 2 DC racks, can carry 22 mines.

First a unit of the Black Sea Fleet, and used for training of foreign crews in the Black Sea who bought one of the Koni Class before she in 1990 was sold to Bulgaria.
February 1990 when the Koni program terminated she was transferred to the Bulgarian Navy, renamed in SMELI (11) (Brave).
