Tonnage 305 tons, dim. 226 ft length.

Homeport New Bedford
16 December 1853 maiden voyage under Captain .William Cleveland and owned by S. Thomas & Co, New Bedford. She sailed around Cape Horn for the Pacific whaling grounds.
18 May 1857 she returned home with on board 712 barrels of sperm oil, during the voyage she sent already home 791 barrels of sperm oil. During the voyage the fourth mate died.
1868 She was sold after arrival of her fifth voyage to Charles Hitch and Son in New Bedford., 1873 Joshua Hitch was the owner.
1885 Was the owner given as J& W R Wing in New Bedford and tonnage 238 ton.
The company kept her till her last voyage when she arrived in September 1914 from the Atlantic whaling grounds under command of Captain Valentina Rosa with on board 2555 barrels of whale oil.
Altogether she made 19 voyages during her early years to the Pacific, while in her latter career she was used in the Atlantic.
On her last voyage she visited Tristan da Cunha in 1913, she was the last whaler from the United States to visit this island.
1915 Sold to the Eastern Coal Co., Providence R.I. who used her as a barge in the coal trade.
Fate unknown.
