SA-15 CLASS POLAR SHIPS

On this Russian stamp in the upper left side of the stamp is a modern polar ship depict of the SA-15 class.
The older icebreaker left under is the KRASIN, while the modern icebreaker depict is the ARKTIKA.

The SA-15 class Arctic polar vessels were designed and built by two shipyards in Finland for the Russian Government, altogether 19 units were built on this yards. In 2012 only 3 were in service the others already scrapped.
The first unit built was the NORILSK in 1982 and the last was the KAPITAN DANILIKIN in 1987.
