PAJUTTAAT

Post by aukepalmhof » Sun Apr 13, 2014 9:36 pm

The maxi chart gives the PAJUTTAAT, the stamp is very unclear but most probably the same vessel is depict on the stamp, sailing during the night in waters were growlers are floating around the reason she has on the forefront of the bridge three search lights. I have been sailing many years in the waters of Newfoundland were we have had the same problem during the night, icebergs you could easily pick up on the radar screen but the floating pieces of ice (growlers) some heavy, were very difficult to find and could easily hole the bow of your ship when hit.
