Built as a wooden skiff by Wee Georgie Robinson at Balmain NSW for his own account.
Length 18ft.
1919 Completed as BRITANNIA.
She was built specifically for racing, and she carried a ridiculous press of sail, her crew were mostly hard working men, collisions and brawls were common between the crews of the racing skiffs.
The BRITANNIA became a champion, winning numerous club, State and Australian championships.
1945 She was retired from racing and thereafter used by the Sydney Flying Yacht Squadron’s as a starter boat.
In the late 1980s she was fully restored and is now on display at the Australian National Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour, Sydney, NSW.
