The hull was built as a trawler under yard no b316/1by Stocznia Polnocna, Gdansk, Poland for Cap Bourbon, Le Port, Reunion Island.
31 May 2001 keel laid down.
14 August 2001 launched.
Tonnage 1,295 grt,388 net, dim. 55.49 x 11.02 x 7.6m. Length bpp 49.2m, draught 4.95m
Reefer hold capacity 693 m³
Most probably after launching the empty hull was towed to Concarneau, France where she was completed under yard no c238 by Chantier Piriou Freres.
Powered by one MAK 6M25 diesel engine, 1800 kW, 2,446 hp, one controllable pitch propeller, speed 13 knots
28 February 2002 completed and delivered under the name CAP HORN 1. Registry port Port aux Francais.

She was fitted out as a long liner for fishing for tooth fish in the Antarctic waters.
2016 Will she be chartered by Sapmer for two years with the option to purchase.
2016 In service, same name and owner, IMO No 9246968.
