La Grandvillaise
A bisquine, a 3 masted lugger

La Grandvillaise is a replica of a traditional fishing ship from Britanny/Normandy. She was built at Cancale as an exact replica of La Rose Marie (1897). Used to fish oysters and scalops.

Built in 1988-'90 by Ets. Anfray Claude, Granville for Association des Vieux Gréements Granvillais.
Replica of the bisquine LA ROSE MARIE, a oyster fishing boat from 1897, displacement:55 tons, Loa:32.30m. L.Hull:18.28m. B:4.87m. Draft:2.75m. Boni diesel:135 hp. (other source gives Baudouin diesel:75 hp.) sail area:293m². while cruising, and 340m². at regatta sailing.
Makes cruises along the coast of Normandy, England and the Channel Islands with 9 passengers or day trips for 26 persons, homeport Granville.
