The 3.70Kr. stamp issued by Denmark on 06 September 1984 depicts a deck scene on board the Danish trawler JONNA TORNBY E446.

Built as a steel trawler in 1971 by Walther Poulsen, Saxkoebing, Denmark for Verner Christensen, Esbjerg.
Launched under the name JONNA TORNBY her name is composed of the owner’s wife first name and the name of his native town.
Tonnage 136.0 grt, 66 net. Dim. 93 x 22 x 9ft.
Powered by a 660hp diesel.
Crew 4.

Used for North Sea fisheries, but she has also been used for test fishing by Fishing Authorities in the waters west of Greenland.
When Verner Christensen retired from fishing she was scrapped in 1997 as given by some web-sites.
