Indonesia issued on February 3rd 1964 a set of Transport and Communications stamps, the 1.75 Rp. value showing the motorship Hadji Agus Salim, while another recently issued stamp of 15 Rp. depicts the motor-ship Sam Ratulangie. Both vessels are sister ships owned by the Indonesian Government's Djakarta Lloyd Line, and registered at Djakarta. They were built in Poland in 1963 by the Stocznia Szczecinska at Szczecin, their gross tonnages being 6,813 and net 3,763. Overall length is 505'/2 ft. beam 63 ft. 10 in., draft 27 ft. 2 in., depth 31 ft. 2 in., and they have cargo space amounting to 652,500 cub. ft. They are single-screw cargo vessels driven by Sulzer oil engines of 6 cylinders which give the vessels a speed of 17 knots. Deadweight tonnage is approximately 10,200, based on similar vessels from the same builders' yard, the crew numbering 52. The cruising range is 12,500 miles.
