HUNYADI

Built as an inland passenger vessel by Mahart Repair Yard at Budapest built for MAHART, Budapest.
Launched under the name HUNYADI named after John Hunjadi (1407-1456) who lost his live in a battle against the Turkish. One sister the RAKOCZI or as given in the web-site as RÁKÓCZI.
Displacement 428 tons, dim. 57.46 x 11.3 x 2.96m., length bpp. 54.65m. draught 1.45m.
Powered by two SKL 8 NVD 36 diesel engines, each 420 hp. Speed 22 km.
Passengers 600.
1966 completed.

1994 Transferred to MAHART Passnave Kft., Budapest.
2007 Still in service, in use as a large excursion ship at Budapest.

On Hungary 1967 1fo sg 2277, scott 1830, 1981 2fo sg 3401 and 20fo sg MS 3406.

Hungary 1977 2fo sgMS3160, scott? The ship is most probably the HUNYADI.
