AYMERIC cargo vessel 1905

Built as a cargo vessel under yard no 258 by D.J.Dunlop & Co., Port Glasgow for the Bank Line (A. Weir & Co.0, Glasgow.
Launched under the name AYMERIC.
Tonnage 4.363 gross, 2.789 net, dim. 370 x 49.8 x 19.2ft.
One triple expansion steamengine, manufactured by Rankin and Blackmore, Greenock.
Nov. 1905 completed.

30 May 1918 she was torpedoed and sunk 145 miles south west by west from Cape Matapan, Greece by the German submarine U63, whilst on a voyage from the River Clyde to Port Said with a cargo of coal.
