Built by Swan Hunter Shipbuilders at Readhead Shipyard, South Shields.
Length 161.68m Breadth 22.59m Draught 8383/9621m Depth 13.11m.
Motorship carrying general cargo. Five holds and five hatches.
Two decks with a third deck in no3 hold.
Owned by the Bank Line Ltd (Andrew Weir & Co Ltd, London).
Doxford and Sunderland Ltd diesels; two single acting six cylinder type 760 x 2180 developing 11,190 Kw (15,000 brake hsp) Speed 18.75 knots.
This ship carries 2052 tons of fuel oil.
Her stern is rather unusual being almost at a right angle to the ships sides.

1984 Sold to Naviere Universal S.A. Callao, Peru, renamed UNICOSTA.
1988 Sold to Pacific International Line (Pte), Singapore, renamed KOTA BERANI.
1993 Sold for breaking up to Indian shipbreakers, and she arrived 01 April 1993 off Alang, India.
