As of 22 August 2007, Post Denmark has decided to make franking labels a permanent product. They work in exactly the same way as postal labels, i.e. the customer chooses the price to be printed on the label. The franking label is printed on self-adhesive thermal paper and measures 55mm x 22.5mm. The theme on the first four new franking labels issued on 22 August, is Danish bridges, four different motifs appearing consecutively, and on three of the labels there is a sailing vessel.
