SAN LIBERATORE fishing vessel

Built under yard No 484 as stern trawler by Schichau-Unterweser AG, Bremerhaven for ‘Nordsee’ Deutsche Hochseefischerei G.m.b.H., Bremerhaven.
1972 Launched under the name HANNOVER.
Tonnage 3.071 gt, 921nt., dim. 91.85 x 15.04 x 5.8m.
Powered by 2 MAK diesel engines, 4.800hp, speed 15 knots, twin screws.
Cargo capacity 1.851 cubic meter frozen, and a 660 cubic meter fishmeal.
Ice strengthened.
Accommodation for 74 men.

Deutsche Hochseefischerei did use his trawlers in the North Sea, Barents Sea and off Iceland.
Later the name was changed to Deutsche Fishfang-Union G.m.b.H. & Co., and the HANNOVER was registered at Cuxhaven.
1991 Refitted in a refrigerated fish processing stern trawler
1997 Sold and renamed SEAFLOWER.
2000 Sold to San Liberatore Shipping Ltd., Kingstown, St Vincent & Grenadines, renamed SAN LIBERATORE.
2004 She is for sale.
2007 Renamed again in HANNOVER.
She was chartered by a New Zealand company for fishing in Antarctic waters.
2008 Was she owned by Cook Strait Seafood and fishing for krill.

IMO NO 7230642, under Cook Island flag and registry.
