Powered by two 6 cyl. Resita/MAN diesels, 8.200 bhp. Geared to one shaft, speed 14 knots.
Four hold 7 hatches. Four derricks of 22 tons.
Can carry 396 TEU’s.

2001 Sold, owned and managed by Poly Trading, Dhaka, Bangladesh under the name AMANAT SHAN.

2006 Owned by Continental Liner Agencies and managed by AK Ship Management and Services (Pvt) Ltd. Bangladesh.
On a voyage from Myanmar to Mumbai loaded with a cargo of timber she developed engine problems on 07 September 2006, taken in tow but sank 08 September about 12 miles off Galle, Sri Lanka, the 34 persons on board under which women and two children were rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy.
After sinking the wreck started to leak oil that polluted beaches and lagoons on the Sir Lanka coast, the slick has washed up on a 7-km stretch of beach, including on beach resorts popular with European tourists.
Indian experts have helped to clean up the oil slick, using a helicopter to spray chemicals to remove the oil from the rocks and corals.
