Pusher tug Linz was built in 1969 for Dunube Steam Navigation Company,Vienna, Austria. Built in Schiffswerft Linz A.G. Shipyard in Linz, Austria.

Her dimensions are 37,8m x 10,65m x 2,62m, 1,5m draft. 2-8 cyl Deutz diesel engines, two screws, 2,200 hp. Two propellers in Kort nozzles, four main rudders behind the propellers to control the 820 ft long push-group. Every lighter has a lenght of 238 feet and a beam of 36 feet to take 1,100 tons of cargo.

She was built together with six pushed barges, and formed the first of this type in Austria. In 1981, her engines were replaced with 2-12 cyl SGP diesel engines, 2,200 hp.
