25th ANNIVERSARY OF THE PEOPLE's ARMY OF ALBANIA

Albania issued in 1968 a set of stamps for the 25th Anniversary of the People Army, of which one stamp shows a sailor and two Albanian warships.

The ship in the foreground is a Russian type P2 fast patrol boat, the ship in the background is unidentifiable
The type P2 was built from 1943 till 1952 in large numbers on Soviets yards. Typical is the double turret located far aft with the 2.5 guns.
Details are: tonnage 40 tons, speed 40 knots.
Armament 2 – 2.6 AA, and two torpedo tubes.
