In April 2025 the Dutch Post issued two sheets with old ships types used by the merchant fleet in the Netherlands.
All stamps can be used for first class mail in the Netherlands,

The brigantine. A two-masted ship developed in America in the 17th century for fishing, whaling, merchant shipping and privateering. The two masts are rigged with a topsail and a topgallant sail, the foremast also with a square foremast, the main mast with a fore-and-aft mainsail (brig sail). Two staysails and a spritsail were carried on the bowsprit, and staysails were also carried between the masts. The main mast usually had only one topmast. These ships were also called barkentine (ca. 1800) or brigantine.
Tonnage up to 200 tons.
