March 1929 the fleet of the Hamburg-Stade-Altländer line was taken over by the Hadag, and the HAMBURG was transferred to the new owner.
1939 Sold to Leth & Co., Hamburg for scrapping, but before she was scrapped the German Navy took over the ship
From 28 June 1943 in use as a barrack vessel at Stettin, after the war on 05 August 1945 she lay at Kappeln.
18 July 1948 towed from Kappeln to Hamburg where after she was scrapped by Eisen & Metall there.
