NL EMS most probably HEINRICH BOJEN

NL Ems is also not an existing ship but a river ship type built in Slovakia. From 1993 to 1994 four units of this type were built, three for German account and one for the Russian North-Caspian Shipping Company.

The first ship built, and most probably depict on the stamp was the HEINRICH BOJEN.
30 June 1992 the keel was laid down, as yard No. 1301 by Slovenske Lodenice A.S., Komarno, Slovakia, for MS ‘Heinrich Bojen’ Siegfried Bojen KG, Moormerland, Germany.
27 March 1993 launched under the name HEINRICH BOJEN.
Tonnage 1.589 gross, 844 net, 2.665 dwt., dim. 82.37 x 11.35 x 4.78m. (draught).
Powered by a four stroke 6-cyl. single acting Deutz diesel, model SBV 6 M 628., 1.015 kW., speed 11.6 knots. One screw.
Two decks, four watertight bulkheads, partly double bottom.
Built as a cargo vessel, but can carry 118 TEU’s. Wheelhouse can hydraulic lowered for passing under bridges.
One bowthruster 175 kW.
June 1993 delivered, and registered under German flag.

1998 Renamed by owners in JOHANN.
12 May 2000 by owners put under the flag and registry of Antigua and Barbados, homeport St. John’s
2007 http://www.equasis.org gives: IMO No 9060675. Call sign V2AA6. Same owner and registration. Managed by Siegfried Bojen, Moormerland, Germany.
December 2007 sold to Wilson Shipowning AS, Norway, renamed in WILSON ELBE and under Malta flag and registry, managed by Wilson Ship Management, Bergen Norway.

2025 Still sailing as the WILSON ELBE with same owner, and Barbuda flag.
