The Persian gunboat Palang, on the 90 dinars stamp of 1935, was built by the Cantieri Navali Riuniti at Palermo and was completed in November 1931. Her two diesel engines gave her a speed of 15 knots, and she had a tonnage of 950. She was armed with two 4in. and two 3in. anti-aircraft guns, and her length was 95011. She was sunk by gunfire of H.M. ships in August 1941 at Abadan.
