Astragale
Re: Astragale
According to MIRAMAR, ASTRAGALE was built as HMS WALRUS, a naval air stores carrier, in 1945 by Blyth DD. She was commissioned on 10 December 1945.
J J Colledge’s Ships of the Royal Navy states that in 1953 she was renamed HMS SKUA and in 1962 was sold for mercantile use.
