Official number 301426. Donga class. Steel screw motorship.
Length 465'. Breadth 63'1". Depth 26'2". 6558 gross tons. 3483 net. 10550 deadweight.
Built by Lithgows Ltd. Port Glasgow. Yard no 11234. for British and Burmese Steam Navigation Co Ltd (P Henderson & Co. Mgrs). Registered Glasgow.
Burmeister & Wain oil engine. 2 stroke single acting 4 cyl. built by J C Kincaid & Co Greenock. 5850bhp. 14 knots. Launched 8 August 1960. Purchased by Elder Dempster on 3 July 1964.
She was sold to Questnorth Ltd I.O.M. on the 10 March 1981. She was laid up at Piraeus 13 August 1982.
She was sold to Chinese shipbreakers on 14 March 1984.
She reported engine room flooded on the voyage from Italy to the Far East.
Arrived at Shanghai for demolition 20 April 1984.
