LANKA KALYANI. General cargo ship owned by Ceylon Sg. Corp., Sri Lanka, and registered at Colombo. Tonnage 5206 gross, 2923 net, 6275 dwt. 13uilt at Helsinigor Skibs & Msk, Nelsingor, in 1960. Dimensions : 122.74m x
16.49m x: 7.417m. ex HANKIANG-73, TEMA-71, BROOKVILLE-63.
Diesel engines. Speed 16 knots.

Built as a cargo vessel under yard No 348 by Helsingor Skibs Vaerft, Elsinore for A.F.Klaveness & Co. A/S Lysaker, Norway.
19 February 1960 launched as the BROOKVILLE.
Tonnage 5,430 gross, 6,275 dwt., dim. 122.7 x 16.5m.
Powered by a 6-cyl. B&W diesel manufactured by shipbuilder, 4,700 bhp., speed 16 knots.
1960 completed.
1963 Sold to Wilh. Wilhelmsen, Norway and renamed TEMA.
1971 Sold to Ocean Tramping Co. Ltd., Somalia Republic and renamed HANKIANG.
1972 Sold to Ceylon Shipping Co. Ltd, Sri Lanka and renamed LANKA KALYANI.
1985 Sold to Pakistan breakers and arrived 04 September 1985 off Gadani Beach and was broken up by Ahmed Steel.
