Built as a pax. ro-ro ferry under yard No 1190 by the Kieler Howaldtswerke A.G., Kiel Germany for I/S Jahre Line, Sandefjord, Norway.
18 December 1965 launched as the PRINSESSE RAGNHILD.
Tonnage 7,694 grt, 3,945 net, 1,219 dwt. Dim. 140.81x 20.02 x 7.50m. Length bpp. 124.90m draught 5.80m.
Powered by two 9-cyl Howaldtwerke M.A.N K9Z 57/80 D diesel engines13,500 bhp, twin shafts, speed 21.5 knots.
Accommodation for 614 passengers and 230 cars.
June 1966 delivered to owners.
June 1966 used in the service between Oslo and Kiel.
1966-1972 Used for cruises in the Mediterranean and for Nord Cape cruises in the summer.
1980 Renamed by owners in JALINA and laid up as a floating accommodation ship in Norway.
1981 Sold to Ametista Shipping Corporation, Monrovia, Liberia and renamed in AMETISTA, used as accommodation ship in the Gulf of Mexico for oil drilling workers.
1981 Sold to Xiamen Shipping Co., Xiamen, China, renamed in JIN JANG.
Used in the service between Xiamen and Hong Kong.
1988 renamed in JI MEI.
1998 In used as a casino vessel from Hong Kong.
2000 Registered for Sky-High Fortune Maritime Inc., Hong Kong, JI MEI under Panama flag and registry.
2010 In service Tonnage given as 9,878 grt, 3,580 net, 1,672 dwt. Imo No 6604482, same owner and name.
