Built as a cargo- container vessel under yard No 1001 by Jurong Shipbuilders Ltd. at Singapore for the Neptune Orient Lines in Singapore.
29 March 1972 launched as the NEPTUNE RUBY.
Tonnage 8,846 grt, 6,071 net, 14,870 dwt., dim. 143.41 x 19.82 x 12.35m., length bpp. 134.1m.
Powered by a Pielstick diesel engine 5,130 bhp, one shaft, speed 13.5 knots.
Four holds and 6 hatches.
1972 Completed.
She was the first ship of the “Freedom” type that was launched in Singapore.
Used in the container service between Singapore-Japan-Vancouver and San Francisco.
1987 Sold to Half Moon Shipping Corp. (SNP Shipping Services Pvt. Ltd.) Panama, renamed ZULJENAH.
2001 Sold to Indian ship breakers and she arrived Alang 24 February 2001.
