GUADIANA destroyer

Built as a destroyer by Arsenal da Marinha, Lisbon for the Portuguese Navy. (There is also given by some sources that she was built in sections by the British yard Yarrow in Scotstoun and assembled at Lisbon.)
21 September 1914 launched as the GUADIANA one of the Douro class of which four has been built.
Displacement 670 ton, dim. 73.15 x 7.16 x 4.2m. Draught 2.3m.
Powered by 3 steam turbines, 17,000 hp., three shafts, speed 27 knots.
Armament: 1 – 100mm, 2 – 76mm guns and 2 -450mm torpedo tubes. Two depth charge throwers with 12 depth charges and 20 mines.
Crew 73.
1915 Completed.

The class was built with British assistance. And she were the strength of the Portuguese destroyer fleet during World War I.
During the 1930s the ships of this class were replaced by the destroyers of the Vouga class.
1936 Decommissioned.
22 January 1937 deleted.
Sold a scrapped later that year in Lisbon.
