Built as reefer- cargo vessel under yard No 729 by Scotts Shipbuilding Co. Ltd, Greenock for the Geest Industries Inc, Boston U.K.
12 June 1972 launched under the name GEESTSTAR.
Tonnage 5.871 gross, 3.065 net, 7.654 dwt., dim. 149.23 x 19.26 x 11.84m., draught 8.42m., length bpp 135.06m.
Powered by one Sulzer 6-cyl diesel, manufactured by Scotts Engineering Ltd., Greenock, 12.000 bhp, speed 21.25 knots, single screw.
Accommodation for 12 passengers.
Loading capacity 9.718m³ in three holds.
26 January 1973 delivered.

Used by Geest in the liner service from the U.K to the West Indies Islands, outward from the U.K. with general cargo return voyage bananas and other tropical fruits.
1986 Sold to Seabridge Shipping Co., Ltd, Limassol, Cyprus, renamed FRIO BRAZIL, managed by Lomar Shipping Ltd., London.
1990 Sold to Matin Marine Co. Ltd., Limassol, Cyprus, managed by Elounda Shipping S.A. Piraeus, renamed FRIO AMAZON.
1994 Sold to Liblease Two Ltd., Kingstown, St Vincent & the Grenadines, and managed by Roswell Navigation Corp., Piraeus, renamed SICAN.
1995 Sold to Hogarth Investment Corp., Panama, with registry port Kingstown, St Vincent & the Grenadines, renamed NAC.
The same year sold for scrap to Bangladesh, where she arrived 06 November 1995 in Chittagong, scrapped by Royal Steel Co., Sitalpur.
08 November 1995 work commenced to scrap her.
