Built by T.P. Nicholson at the public works yard at Suva as a government yacht for the Fiji Government.
16 November 1927 launched as the ADI BETI, she was christened by the Mrs. Seymour wife of the Colonial Secretary. She was named after the little princess (Elizabeth?) the daughter of their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of York “Adi” in Fijian means princess.
Dim. 60 x 13ft.
Cruising radius of 1,000 miles. Speed 10½ knots.
After completing used as Government yacht in the waters around Fiji.
