1913 Dec. laid down, Aug.'14 building halted following outbreak of war, 07-02-'20 launched, 03-'22 completed, 04-05-'22 maiden trip Genoa - Buenos Aires, Aug.11 first voyage Genoa - New York, '25 Genoa - Buenos Aires service.
'32 sold to 'Italia' Flotta Riunite, Genoa, '33 first voyage Genoa - Cape Town.
'34 refit, Gt:21.782, pass. 1st class:170, 2nd class:170, tourist class:300.
'37 to Lloyd Triestino, Genoa, Far East service, Gt:21.900, '40 laid up, 03-'42 chartered by the International Red Cross and used for evacuation voyages from East Africa, laid up at Triest in the summer of that year. Sep.11-'44 heeled over and sank after being hit during an Allied air raid on Triest, '49 the wreck was raised and scrapped.
