She was a passenger steamer in Gambia River.
She was named after wife (Lady Denham) of Gavernor of Gambia from November 29, 1928 to September 11, 1930 Sir Edward Brandis Denham.
She sank after colliding with another steamer HMCS Victoria between Nianimaru and Kuntaur. There were no casualities when she sank. Her mast is stil can be seen during low tide.
