Built in 1941 by Bethlehem Fairfield, Baltimore, 1st Liberty ship that was built, 2751 in total were built .
Gt:7176, Nt:4380, Dw:9000, L:134,43m. B:17,37m. Depth:11,29m. triple expansion engine 2500 hp. 11 kn.
1st trip in jan. 1942, she participated in many Atlantic crossings, including a convoy to Murmansk.
She was also the 1st Liberty ship that sailed through the Suez Canal.
She survived the war but ran into June 1946, off the coast of Florida on a reef and sank, 1958 salvaged and scrapped.
