Constructed of 3 bundles of totora reeds, the central keel bundle bound tightly to form a lightly upturned point at the bow; the outer 2 bundles create the sides; truncated stern. Platform of reeds laid on the after half. Paddle has a very slender loom to which a spade shaped blade is attached.
