Mexico issued in 2022 one stamp for the “Administrations of the National Port System (ASIPOHAS).
The stamp shows us on the left a container vessel almost alongside a container quay. (Do not know which port is depicted, who has the port name? On the right, is the logo of ASIPOHAS with a container ship loading/discharging a container.

The Administrations of the National Port System (ASIPONAS), is the port companies owned by the Mexico nation that since June 1, 2021, are under the command of the Secretary of the Navy, manage the ports of national preponderance, 11 on the coast of the Pacific: Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, Guaymas, Topolobampo, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, Lázaro Cárdenas, Acapulco, Salina Cruz, and Puerto Chiapas; and 7 in the Gulf of Mexico: Altamira, Tampico, Tuxpan, Veracruz, Coatzacoalcos, Dos Bocas and Progreso.
With the Federal Ports in SEMAR, the Government of Mexico decided on a development and security strategy to strengthen maritime trade, guaranteeing the security of operations in ports and maritime customs and thus achieving legal certainty and transparent port management. , and fight corruption; allowing healthy competition, through fair conditions for port terminal operators, service providers, users, and other members of the Port Community.
Considering the relevance and scope of the said decision, it was necessary to adjust the legal framework that regulates the functions and attributions of the Federal Public Administration in the ports, through the publication of a Decree and two Agreements, to transfer the responsibility of conducting the maritime-port policy, as well as the control of the then Comprehensive Port Administrations, from the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation to the Secretariat of the Navy.
For all these reasons, the Mexican Postal Service issues a postage stamp called “Maritime Ports”
