In conjunction with World Firefighters' Day, Pos Malaysia Berhad unveils an exclusive stamp collection highlighting the vehicles – Composite Rigid Inflatable Boat, Helicopter, and Fire Rescue
Tender.
The set of three stamps, only one shows us a composite rigid inflatable boat, fitted out with two outboard motors and a crew of 3 man.
Of this stamp is given:
Rigid inflatable boats are amongst commonly used boats in BOMBA’s water rescue operations including swift water rescues, flood rescues, and maritime rescues. They are well suited for these missions due too their buoyancy, stability and manoeuvrability This boat on the stamp is equipped with specialised equipment such as life jackets, throw ropes, rescue buoys. Medical supplies, and communication devices to ensure the safety of both rescuers and victims during water rescue operations.
