There have been conformation by the owners that the vessel depict on this stamp is the KARIN B, she was deployed in a six month charter in the Madagascar/Comoros/Seychelles Isl., after her delivery.

Built as a multipurpose container vessel under yard No. 179 by Ørskov Christensen Skibsværft A/S, Frederikshavn, Denmark for K/S Peder Wessel III, Soborg, Denmark.
26 December 1993 launched under the name KARIN B.
Tonnage 2.881 gross, 1.029 net, 3.300 dwt., dim. 91.50 x 16.20 x 6.90m., length bpp 84.98m., draught 4.45m.
Powered by two 8-cyl MAN-B&W diesel, 2.560 hp (1.884 kW), speed 14.5 knots, two controllable pitch propellers.
Bunker fuel capacity 360m³.
Cargo capacity 276 TEU’s, 4.084 m³.
10 December 1994 completed.

1994 Renamed in PACIFIC ECUADOR, most probably for a time charter.
1998 Renamed in KARIN B.
2007 Sold to Arrow Seismic Invest IV Ltd. U.K. renamed in POLAR PEARL
2009 As given by http://www.equasis.org same owner, IMO No. 9042295, managed by Rieber Shipping Ltd., Otford, U.K.

09-2011 sold to Drako Shipping, Singapore, converted as a Livestock Carrier, Gt:5.375, Dw:3280, draught:4,20m. renamed in BARKLY PEARL.
