Built by Trondhjems Mek. Versted, Trondheim for Namdalens Aktiedampkisselskap, Namos, Norway.
Launched under the name HERLAUG (II).
Tonnage 219gt., 84 net. Dim. 106 x 20.8 x 11.2ft.
One 8-cyl. 2T EV BMV diesel engine, 400bhp. manufactured in Bergen. Passengers, 150.
1955 Completed.

1970 The name of the company changed to A/S Namos Trafikkselskap.
1974 Sold to Simon Møkster, Stavanger, Norway, not renamed.
1974 Sold to Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, which had only recently obtained its independence from Portugal. Cape Verde obtained its independence from Portugal in 1975 and established close ties with Guinea-Bissau.
1975 Sold to Cia. Nacional de Nevegacao Arca Verde at Praia, Cape Verde Islands and renamed ARCA VERDE I.
http://www.equasis.org gives 2009 that she was owned and managed by Guinea Bissau Government, under the name HERLAUG. IMO No. 5148821, under the Guinea Bissau flag and registry.
