On the 15pf stamp of East Germany is depict a fishing vessel, on the vessel you can find the name ROS but this tells us only that she was registered in Rostock.
At that time three types of fishing vessels were used by the East German fisheries.
Type Leipzig of 575 gross tons, type ERFURT of 600 gross tons and type Cottbus of 880 gross tons.
The difference between the types is scanty, and it is not possible to identify from the stamp which type isdepict.

East Germany 1961 10pf sg E552.
