Built as a steel hulled ferry by A/S Mjellem & Karlsen, Bergen for the Alversund & Manger Dampskibsselskab, Bergen, Norway..
Launched under the name SEIMSTRAND.
Tonnage 119 gross, dim. 100.9 x 19 x 9.6ft.
One triple expansion steam engine manufactured by Mjellem & Karlsen, 40 nhp..
1913 Completed.

She was one of four almost identical sisterships. She was used in the regular service between Bergen-Salhus-Frekhaug-Alverstraumen and Seim, with passengers, cargo and mail.
1927 The company was renamed in Alversund & Manger Dampbaatlag A/S, Bergen.
During World War II used in the same service.

1947 Rebuilt by the Frydenbo Slip & Mek. Verksted, Damsgård, Bergen.
Tonnage 187 gross, 95 net, dim. 30.76 x 5.80m.
Powered by a 4-cyl Crossley diesel engine, 480 bhp.
Around 1950 used in the Bergen-Fedje/Byrknesøy route.
1967 A new engine fitted in a 2-cyl Wichmann, 400 shp.
1973 During the summer laid up at Florvåg, Askøy.
October 1973 chartered by Indre Nordhordland Dampbåtlag, Bergen.
March 1974 to Divemasters Ltd. Kingston, Jamaica, in use between the Antilles Islands.
Later bought by Ferry Lines Kingston, St Vincent used as a ferry, accommodation for 231 passengers.
1984 Sank while laid up in the port of Kingston, St Vincent.
