She was built under yard No 1027 as a semi-container vessel by the AG Weser Seebeckwerf, Bremerhaven for the Cameroon Shipping Lines SA, Douala, Cameroon.
14 May 1979 keel laid down.
14 September 1979 launched under the name CAM IROKO.
Tonnage open/closed 7.462/12075 gross, 4.474/7.158 net, 11.920/16.600 dwt., dim. 152.2 x 23.0 x 13.0 m., draught 9.7m.
Powered by one MAN diesel, 9.000 hp., speed 17 knots.
Container capacity 605 TEU’s. Cargo capacity 24.572 m³ grain, 22.460m³ bale.
She was strengthened for ice and heavy cargo.
Crew 39.
20 December 1979 delivered to owners.

Used for the services of the Cameroon Shipping lines to Western Europe.
1989 Sold to unspecified owners, Bahamas and renamed CORALSTONE.
The same year sold to Green Wave Shipping Ltd., Bahamas and renamed MC CORAL.
1994 Renamed by owners in CMBT EXPRESS.
1999 Renamed by owners in MC CORAL.
2000 Sold to Nanyuan Shipping Co. Ltd., St Vincent and the Grenadines, renamed SHANG YUAN MEN.
2005 given by http://www.equasis.org : IMO No 7824481, call sign J8B2137. Still under St Vincent and the Grenadines flag, homeport Kingstown, managed by Nanjing Ocean Shipping Co. Ltd, (Cosco), Nanjing, China.

On the background of the stamp there are two more vessels tied up alongside the quay, Navicula gives that the vessel, which is mostly behind the CAM IROKO, looks like her sister the CAM ILOMBA.

She was built on the same yard under yard No 1026. Other details the same as CAM IROKO.

1990 renamed by owners in PENELOPE V.
1991 Sold to Oceanways Co. Inc., Greece, renamed MYKINAI.
2000 Sold by Evromar Inc., Panama to Sambu Overseas Corp., Panama, renamed MINA.
2001 Sold to Indian breakers, and she arrived Alang 27 June 2001.
