LE ST EUGENE IV

Built as a high-speed mono-hull vessel under yard No. 855 in 1988 by Soc Francaise de Cons., Nav., Villeneuve-la-Garenne, Franch, for the Soc. Anonyme d’Economie Mixte Maritime de Saint-Pierre et Miquelon at St. Pierre.
Launched under the name LE ST.EUGENE IV.
Displacement light 67 tonnes, loaded 88 tonnes. Dim. 35 x 6.3 x 1.0m. (draught).
Powered by two MWM TBD engines, 1.417 kW., KaMeWa water jets, speed 27 knots.
Hull is made of light alloy.
Passenger accommodation for 200 persons.

A high-speed passenger launch of the Marlin 35 design, she was delivered on 8 April 1988, and used in the inter-island traffic between St Pierre and Miquelon taking 55 minutes to cross.
