Light Cruiser. Built 1927 ferrol Dockyard British design for Spanish Navy. Keel laid 25 Nov 1922. Launch 16 Oct 1925. Comp May 1927. 7850tn. L579’6”. Parsons turbines 80000shp. 4 screws. 33knts. Arm eight 6in/50. Four 4in/45 AA. Two 3pdr AA guns. Twelve 21in TT. Compl 545. Struck from Navy List 1966.

Built in 1923-'28 in Ferrol for the Spanish Navy after a British design.
Light cruiser, displacement: 7595 tons, maximum:9385 ton, Loa:176m. B:16m. Draft:5.03m. 8 Yarrow steam boilers, 4 Parsons turbines:80,000 hp. 4 shafts,, 33 kn. complement:566, armament:8-6" (152mm.) in 3 double and 2 single turrets, 4-4"(102mm) AA guns, 3-47mm. AA guns, 12-21"(533mm) torpedo tubes above water.
After World War II due to lack of money not modernized and used as part-time training ship, demolished in 1965.
