Paddle steamer built 1847 George B Collyer NY. 640 tn. Fitted with new bow increasing length to 276ft. Paddle wheels 32ft dia. Owned by Peoples Line. Purchased 1855 by Commodore A Van Santvoord who began the Hudson Bay Line with her and ARMENIA in 1856. Finally cut down, converted into towboat serving as such until 1875. Broken up Port Ewen.
