The cargo ship Lidice, owned by the "Cechofracht" Shipping Corporation, of Prague. Her gross tonnage is 5,659 (net 2,732) on dimensions 457 ft 8 in. x 57 ft. 11 in. x 26, ft. 0 in. Built in 1954 by Wartsila Kon. Crichton-Vulcan, and driven by an M.A.N. oil engine, she is named after the mining village razed by Germany in the last war and is the first ship of Czechoslovakia's postwar merchant fleet. This fleet has an aggregate total around the 158,000-ton mark. The Lidice is a regular visitor to the Thames. SG1139 Sea Breezes May 1960

In 1959 sold to Ceskoslovenska Namorni Plavba Mezinarnodni Akciova Spoleschost (CNP) not renamed, 11-02-1967 sold to China Ocean Shipping Co., Shanghai, renamed in XU CHANG, no more info
